mdv init

Write the optional config or the agent skill (starters are being rebuilt).

Make it so. Starter contracts are being rebuilt; for now mdv init writes the config and the agent skill.

Usage

mdv init
mdv init config [dir] [--dry-run]
mdv init skill [dir] [--dry-run]

Arguments

  • config | skill — What to write. Any other name (a starter) exits 2: starters are being rebuilt.
  • [dir] — The project folder to write into; default: the working directory.

Options

  • --dry-run — Report what would be written without writing any file.

Examples

mdv init          # say starters are being rebuilt, and list config and skill
mdv init config   # write the optional mediva.config.mjs
mdv init skill    # teach your coding agent to check the Markdown it writes (Claude Code, Codex)

mdv fix
